The Transition Luminos View, designed by Hua Cheng & Hsian-Li Lo, is a unique residential space that combines functionality with a captivating design. With a focus on natural lighting, original materials, and thoughtful routes arrangement, this design aims to create a space that embodies the essence of living.

The centerpiece of the design is the staircase, which serves as a vertical axis connecting the open and private spaces. Each angle of the staircase draws in sunlight along a different vector, creating a play of light and shadow throughout the space. The irregularly carved-out rectangles in the staircase further enhance the emotional expression of the light, giving it a sense of depth and vitality.

One of the standout features of the Transition Luminos View is the connection between the upper and lower decks. A wooden bookshelf wall acts as a link between the public and private spaces, creating a seamless flow between the two areas. This design choice not only enhances the functionality of the space but also adds a touch of warmth and character.

With its emphasis on natural lighting, original materials, and a thoughtful layout, the Transition Luminos View offers a unique and refreshing approach to residential design. The Transition Luminos View project was completed in September 2014 in Taipei. The design team started working on the project in December 2013, conducting extensive research to ensure that every aspect of the design was carefully considered. The result is a space that not only looks beautiful but also functions seamlessly.

This exceptional design has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2016. The award acknowledges the outstanding creativity and resourcefulness of the design, as well as its contribution to improving the quality of life.
